about
This track was recorded remotely during the later stages of 2020. We decided that it was a track that we not only loved but also one with a connection to the trials we've all been going through during this pandemic. Wanting to draw more attention to mental health awareness during such troubled times, we've decided to donate all proceeds from the sale of this track to a wonderful organization called Steel Smiling.
Steel Smiling bridges the gap between Black people and mental health support through education, advocacy and awareness. Their 10 year vision is to connect every Black person in Allegheny County to a positive mental health experience that improves their quality of life by 2030.
Please help us make a substantial donation to this organization by purchasing this track. We're pretty proud of how it turned out and hope it will give you some respite from the world for even a few minutes!
lyrics
I asked you a question
I didn't need you to reply
Is it gettin' heavy?
But then I realized
Is it gettin' heavy?
Well I thought it was already as heavy as can be
Is it overwhelming
To use a crane to crush a fly?
It's a good time for Superman
To lift the sun into the sky
'Cause it's gettin' heavy
Well I thought it was already as heavy as can be
Tell everybody
Waitin' for Superman
That they should try to hold on nest they can
He hasn't dropped them
Forgotten or anything
It's just too heavy for Superman to lift
Is it gettin' heavy?
Well I thought it was already as heavy as can be
Tell everybody
Waitin' for Superman
That they should try to hold on best they can
He hasn't dropped them
Forgotten or anything
It's just too heavy for Superman to lift

My first experience w/ the band being a narrow head/bleed/toa show in Detroit october 2022. One of the more pleasant surprises regarding a genre I’m not as familiar with, but always looking for gems from. And this group is a gem. Can’t wait. DŶSENTERY BLUES
